Casual Friday: Warpaint, one of the most consistantly excellent rock bands around - get into them

Regardless of the fact it's 4 chicks - they make beautiful music

Bassist Jenny Lee Lindberg flouts bass guitar convention by having longer nails and a fetching manicure - her sister is the actor Shannon Sossamon who played drums in the band until 2009

When they recruited Stella Mozgawa - an Aussie - she has quite the pedigree having shared the stage with Flea and Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine) and opening for Perry Farrel's Satellite Party.

Theresa Wayman one of the founding members is also an occasional actor and has been in a couple of feature films and short films! She's a mean guitarist.

Emily Kokal is more of a tomboy, can't go past a wool beanie and is also a founding member. She dated The Red Hot Chilli Peppers' John Frusciante who mixed their first EP 2008's Exquisite Corpse.

Definitely check Warpaint out.
Youtube them - They're super natural performers

Past Casual Friday Alumni you should check out:
Anna Calvi

Janelle Monae
Lykki Li

Happy Friday everyone

Closet/Wardrobe Organization - Part 2: Necklaces/accessories - Pinterest Inspired organizing

To the left: I've built my own cork-board organizer for my more tangle-y pieces
On the Right: I bought a necklace holder to hang all my chain pieces.

I have some others organized in these cute little origami boxes that I made.

A few more in my dresser along with my rings, brooches and GHD's

More origami Boxes store my Bangles, Lipsticks, Lip glosses and Handcream.

The Boxes are super simple to make once you learn - search it on YOUTUBE
I make them all the time for home baking gifts.

How do you guys organize your treasures?

Next Time: Closet organization - all the non-clothing things, like pursed and hats!

Mondayitis - Harolds AMAZING 22nd floor Appartment in the Stamford Residences Auckland City

Eurgh, how is it MONDAY again?

So... we were in town for Auckland Anniversary Weekend for Laneway Festival.
Hence the lovely Fireworks!!!
We were invited to take in the view from an acquaintances new apartment in the Stamford Hotel Residences - Spoiler Alert: IT WAS AWESOME!!!!
I was intrigued to see what a permanent hotel residence looked like (pretty much just an inner-city apartment) it was bigger than my HOUSE - so pretty nice ;-)

The Bathrooms (3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, one large office) were ALL MARBLE.
As you step out of the elevator - View of the Auckland Harbor Bridge
Almost a 240 degree view! Insane wall of windows
View of Devonport's North Shore and BEYOND
Seriously - this is taken out the window of his Home!
I've done him a painting for him to hang up in his new place!

Hope you guys are exploring and discovering new things
