Is nail art naff?

I don't care!!!

Now gaze upon my nail art - done be meee!

These were my contribution to Valentines Shtick.
Looking sharp in green and silver ;-)
 Mint!!!  Plus white and silver.
These are my two favorite colors.
The stars are tricky little beggars - one minute they're there, next the on the floor!
 Matte Nails ala Claires
What I'm rocking as I type this - next up Easter themed nails!

I ran them all through Instagram for added effect
You can follow me if you like @crimsonking1984

Next I gotta take my nails here.

The new Chanel Nail bar in Covent Garden London

My sister Ange and I have booked ourself a 'Floral' high tea - can get out nails done after!

Oh and p.s. these are my natural nails - They've been growing like weeds since I stopped covering them in cake batter and icing ;-)

So... is nail art naff?

  1. Ok first of all, I can't believe these are your real nails. Really?!?!?! I can't help but chew mine all the time. My favorites are the Matte look and I LOVE the green and silver. I think you should do a tutorial on how you did that particular one!!

And LOL, I loved your last comment on my blog. You know, I just put on whatever and never stop to think if it's going to look good on my midget like body. I love your advice on keeping the top baggy with skinny jeans and vice verse. Def going to keep that one in mind :)

    1. I have ridiculously thick strong nails! Some people have long legs and shiny hair - I have STRONG NAILS! #goodgenes.
I love reading your blog - you have a hilariously unique voice. It's good that you're not dressing to impress other people - your dressing cause you wanna wear certain clothes!
I'm doing Easter nails at the moment and I'll post a little tutorial - show you my tricks ;-) ;-)

I have noe patience either! Thats why I always buy the fast dry stuff - and if your add a fast drying glitter top coat it doesnt chip as easily and then it lasts longer - solving your patience issues :-D

  9. aw great inspiration! every time i see beautiful colored nails, i wish i had tones of different nail polish :> would be AWESOME! :> guess i'm going to do easter nails this year :>!!
and yees, it's a real tattoo..i'm in love with it. i've made it in autumn last year, so it's the first spring/summer season with it for "open" shoes:) yeah!! do you want more tattoos or having already more?

    1. I definitely want more tats! But I have to be sure of the exact design before I get them done ;-) My friend has 11 and still wants more :-O

I don't spend a lot on nail polish - Revlon, Maybeline and Loreal are all fine and 3-5 quid each - you can get a good color spectrum going :-)
